Advice: If possible do not put any hot plates or cups straight on the resin.
We advise you to use Epoxy Resin table mats so heat would not damage the resin, as this should prevent slight scratches from appearing on the
top coat of the resin.
General day to day cleaning:
You can use antibacterial spray or just a damp cloth.
Does the table need to be treated?
Yes. Wooden surfaces can be easily maintained and kept looking
rejuvenated and healthy. You can refresh the table with just some
olive oil and make sure to leave it overnight so the table can
absorb it and then simply clean off the remaining oil the next day.
As opposed to high VOC wood varnishes, olive oil is predominantly
a natural product which is easy to apply, as well as easy to
maintain it for overlong period of time.
If you enjoy ‘caring for wood’ an appropriate way to maintain your table would be to use wood oil as it’s a
better choice of finish instead of using wax or varnish.
You might have heard about the extraordinary uses of olive oil can be beneficial to your home, especially on your wooden furniture?
While some people think that the use of olive oil might damage wooden furniture, it actually nourishes the
wood and brings out its natural shine. It can be used to treat several kinds of wooden surfaces. From chairs
and Epoxy Resin tables to wooden storage boxes you can use olive oil and let it act as a varnish, although olive oil does not
have the same thickness as the varnish coating has, it can
protect wooden furniture from mild dents and scratches.
